Sit. Stay. Love.

Anthropologie hosted a dog adoption and pet supply drive for the SPCA last weekend. They set up a beautiful table at the entrance, filled with people treats, dog treats, a donation jar and two containers holding dropped off toys and blankets.

Four pups from the SPCA with their volunteer walkers roamed around the store and adoption applications were available as well. Such an awesome idea to raise awareness for shelter dogs.

I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Anthropologie but now I love them even more!

After the adoption event I stayed to check out some of the gorgeous clothes. All in all, a fun afternoon helping animals, meeting the great people involved in this drive and doing a little shopping too!

Nuttah Woodley-Varela

Nuttah is a lovely mixed breed dog who was rescued two years ago from a reserve in Northern BC. She was found cold, tired and hungry, living in a snow bank with her mom and siblings. They were all brought to safety by Dhana Metta rescue and adopted out to loving homes.

Nuttah now has an awesome life full of adventure with her mom and dad, Kristin and Pancho. She has flown to Ontario, taken the ferry to the Islands several times and is also an avid hiker. Although only 16 pounds, Nuttah can easily do a tough 10 or 15k hike. I recently had a chance to trek through Joffre lakes with her and loved watching her swim, run and scramble over rocks.

Miss Nuttah, one of my favourite hiking companions.
